Steve Fricke, President and Coach of 3rd/4th Grade Team

Growing up on the plains of North Dakota, Steve looked for a sport to play in the hockey off-season, found the sport of lacrosse, and wished that he could play it. Some 30 years later, Steve took his son to a lacrosse game–and from that point forward Steve and his family have been involved in lacrosse.

Steve is the head coach of the Bellevue East Lacrosse Grades 3/4 team, coaches boy’s lacrosse for the Sammamish Lacrosse Club, and coaches a variety of other sports.

Steve is married to Nan. They have a 13 year old son, Stefan, and an 8 year old daughter, Cossette. If you can’t find Steve on a lacrosse field, you may find him on one of his several bikes or preparing for his next hike in Nepal.
